A Place to Reflect

Banff National Park, Alberta

Moraine Lake is one of my favorite places in Banff National Park. The turquoise waters and dramatic peaks became known as the “twenty-dollar view” when they once appeared on the twenty-dollar Canadian bill. The lake is a very popular summer destination, as busy as a city street in summer. But in quieter moments, when I look over this landscape, I think, “One has to take the time to reflect on nature: our responsibility to it and place within it.” My hope is that when you collect this image you, too, share that sentiment.
