What's Up
What's Up
Prince Albert National Park, SK
One spring, I happened upon a mother bear and her two yearling cubs in Prince Albert National Park. I think they may have been fishing at Mud Creek. The yearling cubs were having a blast going up and down the trees. It takes them a bit of time to climb up, but they can descend incredibly fast, taking just a few second to safely come out of a 10 to 12 metre tree. At one point this bear stopped, and gave the photographer a good look, perhaps wondering, "What's Up?"
