Thinkin' on Things

We found this big male polar bear out on the ice pack and repositioned ourselves to get a better view of him as he hunkered down in this little island of ice. He looked dismayed, as if 'thinking on things' in terms of what he was going to do next. After the encounter, my guide David expressed to me that this was the second largest polar bear he had ever seen.
