What a beautiful phenomenon the Aurora Borealis is, hanging over the Lakeland area. I felt lucky to capture this rare sight. This natural light display is a mirror image of solar storms; the solar particles hit our outer atmosphere, illuminate the gases and present us with these colourful dancing lights.
