Sisters’ Winter Whispers

Canmore, Alberta

The Three Sisters are a distinctive natural feature of Canmore. They’re named Faith, Charity, and Hope. When early explorer Albert Rogers first sighted them, they had a light dusting of snow, which reminded him of the black and white habits worn by nuns—and thus the name.
