Every spring, mated pairs of Canadian geese lay their eggs in nests along shores of the Waskesiu River. The goslings seen here would have been a few days old as they played in the water alongside their parents. Canadian geese typically have between five and seven chicks a season and the babies will remain with their parents for up to a full year.
