Beautiful evening light complimented with a few snow flakes, and an elk’s warm breath in the cold air. A photographer’s greatest gift from Mother Nature is not only the subject, but the light that accompanies; it creates the mood, helps to tell the visual story and turns the image into art! During this particular year temperatures were cold, and snow was falling during the elk rut, not a common occurrence, hence a rare image!
