Cold Crew

Traveling between Alberta and Saskatchewan, I came over the top of a hill into a wall of ice fog. It took a moment to realize these bison had created it in the stillness of the morning. As I tried to capture images of the frosty beasts, a coyote appeared and began chasing the herd. Fortunately, I was able to position myself for this shot. Most bison are found only within parks or ranches.
