Coastal Spirit
Princess Royal Island, British Columbia
On a cool, misty day, this spirit bear looked out over the Pacific Ocean. The mood that day was slightly eerie and when this white bear first emerged from the forest there was a ghostly quality to it. With only about four hundred individuals in existence, I felt truly fortunate to get to spend time with this rare creature.
