Technically, this photograph was challenging. I set my camera on my tripod and then used a long exposure while I vertically panned the camera. The result was an abstract image of a stand of aspen trees. The beautiful fall colours combined with the white lines of the trees draw the viewer in, and allow them to lose themselves in the image's serenity. These aspen trees are part of a forest that provides a crucial habitat for many creatures, and is a place I love to be.
