Canadian Rockies
A beautiful summer day in the backcountry of Mount Assiniboine Park with blue skies and clouds passing by quickly in the sky. Located on the great divide, the British Columbia/Alberta border, Mount Assiniboine rises nearly 1,152 meters above Lake Magog. Because of its resemblance to the Matterhorn in the Alps, it is nicknamed the “Matterhorn of the Rockies”. I used a 10-stop density filter to capture this exposure of 91 seconds.
