What is Acrylic Face-Mounting?

In acrylic face-mounting, the image is first printed on metallic archival photographic paper, then fused to a clear acrylic panel. This method is preferred by collectors who don’t want a frame – a “float mount” effect – so that nothing detracts from the image itself. The image is then hung on special clips called "Z Clips" that clip into the back mounting frame and are anchored into the wall allowing for quick and easy hanging.

Why Choose It?

Acrylic face-mounted prints deliver vibrant colour and depth, with a luminous quality that makes the image appear lit from within. Unlike traditional framing, there’s no glass separation, just clarity. These prints are just as UV-resistant and long-lasting as a traditional framed piece, making them a stunning and durable option.
