This is by far one of the cutest interactions I have seen amongst red fox kits. Finding a title that suited this moment was difficult: It needed to be as fun and expressive as the kits. I was laughing to myself as I clicked the shutter and ecstatic when I saw the result. Their look of contentment, of just living in the moment, was something I knew I could learn from. There were five kits. Their play behaviour is important, developing the necessary strength and agility over the summer for hunting and survival as adults. Once fall arrives, they live a solitary life until February, when mating season begins.
