Banff’s Tranquility

Banff National Park, Alberta

At the top of the town of Banff, Alberta, I photographed this elk on the Bow River at the foot of Cascade mountain.  The reflection in the still river made the scene seem quite majestic, and a quiet moment of tranquility washed over me.
