Lovely Louise
Canadian Rocky Mountains, Alberta
It was an idyllic summer afternoon on the shore of Lake Louise, surrounded by the majesty of the mountains. With its glacier-fed, turquoise waters, Lake Louise is one of the most picturesque locations in the world. The turquoise water is created by rock flour carried in the glacial melt that trickles down to the lake. The sun reflects off these particles, refracting blue and green wavelengths of light. Lake Louise is famous for its teahouses, grizzly bears and hiking trails, attracting sightseers from around the world.
