Algonquin Park, ON
Algonquin Park is one of my favourite places to photograph in the fall and this was an especially beautiful day. The fall colours were out in abundance, shining leaves of reds, yellows, and oranges everywhere I looked. Algonquin Park was the first national park in Ontario, established in 1893. The park occupies 7630 square kilometers of land and water and lies on a transition zone between deciduous and coniferous forests. Both types of forests are found within the park and five major habitat types, supporting an area diverse in plant and animal life.
