Canada’s Autumn Hues
Algonquin Park, Ontario
This was another image from Algonquin Park. The Ox Tongue River was the perfect setting for photographing fall colours and flowing water. Green moss on the tree bark, and the red, orange and green leaves accentuating the river, were captivating. I wanted just the right shot with everything in balance.
I returned to this exact spot where I captured this image years later: the water levels, the overhanging tree and other features had vanished. The timing of the fall colours and the year make this image one-of-a-kind.
