Wolf Song

Prince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan

This image was captured during one of my most intimate wolf encounters to date.  I had seen this wolf pup and its two black siblings before, and on this day I heard them in the trees practicing their howling.  I decided to howl back and, to my surprise, the three came out of the forest, sat in a clearing nearby and shared their wolf song!
