The Great Escape
Prince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan
I stalked this Great Blue Heron early in the morning as he stood and waited for breakfast on the Waskesiu River. He was a trusting soul as I went through the trees to watch him. He must have thought I was a bear. Upon realizing I was a human, he became quite curious. I had hoped he would have caught his breakfast for me to capture an image of. However, after half an hour, he started to stretch and made the "great escape" to head to search for breakfast somewhere else.
