I was at eye level with these Canada geese as I stood near the top of the riverbank, panning with the geese at the same rate they were flying. Their motion is elegantly softened while the background is somewhat blurred. All of their wings are in different positions. There was a skiff of snow this day in late October near Saskatoon. With access to open water in the Saskatchewan River and grain crops nearby, these Canada geese don't typically migrate until late in the year.
