This was one of my orphaned raccoon, Squirt’s, first attempts at tree-climbing. She spotted a tree that intrigued her and had no problem climbing up. When she was ready to turn around to come down again, she was a little unsure of herself. She reached a paw out in my direction, looking to me for help. I was happy to oblige.
