Using a unique photographic technique, this image was captured with my lens just four inches/ten centimeters from the polar bear, yet I remained safe.  This curious mother and her two yearling cubs were hunting on the polar ocean ice.  This certainly gives a unique perspective of this species as well as their curiosity and desire to be famous!
