O’Hara’s Expanse

Lake O'Hara shows off deep turquoise colours at the brightest in July and August. Rock flour from the glacier ice melt is light and stays suspended in the water for a long time. Sunlight on the lake brings out the colours. To capture the shades and shadows of the clouds, I sat on the edge of a vertical drop of 200 feet.
